Job Description

 

Working within established software teams on ASN.1 and SDL within the context of telecoms applications and conformance testing. Depending on the skill profile, responsibilities may include all areas of software development - from design and implementation through to regression testing.

 

The placement period is a demanding experience in a fast moving environment with exposure to object-oriented programming techniques, C/C++, and development issues associated with large software projects.

 

Customer contact, on-site presentations and support are encouraged.

 

Requirements

 

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following skills/qualifications profile:

• Studying for a University Degree in telecoms or a related science based field.
  
• Knowledge of the programming languages C/C++ and object-oriented techniques.
  
• Good communication skills.
  
• Excellent analytical skills.
  
• Fluent in English (written & spoken), plus a second language.
