Emulation

Using the SOLINET Network Emulators, 'go/no-go' tests can be carried out with immediate results. These emulators automatically terminate the signaling of active interfaces under test.

The SAFIRE signaling is generated by reference modules, implemented according to the SDL specifications for the relevant active interfaces. The same reference modules are also implemented in telecoms equipment for use in live systems.

An optional B-Channel switch model is fully compatible with the network emulators and allows speech paths to be connected.

The SOLINET Network Emulators can also be used to replace real active interfaces, for example to build a test environment, for use at exhibitions or to carry out installation tests on-site.

Automated traffic generation can be provided via the SOLINET TGEN module.
