The SOLINET platform has been designed specifically for the implementation and validation of signaling systems. Built around the SAFIRE tool chain, using a graphical representation, based on international standards such as SDL, MSC and ASN.1, the SAFIRE tool chain is intuitive and easy to learn.

Signaling systems can be implemented quickly and easily using SAFIRE's extensive project management and development features. For standard requirements there are SOLINET signaling libraries and physical interfaces available as plug-in modules.

SAFIRE TOOL CHAIN

SAFIRE is our integrated development environment for the implementation, validation and observation of signaling systems.

With conventional languages like C, C++ and Java, the implementation and validation of signaling systems incurs significant development and maintenance overhead. With the SAFIRE tool chain the specification of a system is directly executed, achieving visible results faster and more reliably.

SAFIRE's powerful testing features enable signaling systems to be validated to various levels of confidence, from simple, top-level tests to detailed conformance tests according to international standards.

SAFIRE based test harnesses and test suites automatically fulfill the four golden principles of quality assurance requirements; tests are automated, reproducible, deterministic and documented.

For the observation of signaling systems, SAFIRE has a built-in protocol analyzer able to capture not only internal signaling, but also signaling traffic from live networks using SAFIRE compatible probes and 3rd party applications. The captured messages are decoded, formatted and presented according to configurable protocol stacks.
