 General Terms for Non-Exclusive Resellers

 

SOLINET supports and honors its resellers with approval certification, staff training and awards! This summary outlines the general terms for non-exclusive resellers and their co-existence with the SOLINET Internet Shop.

 

Reseller Approval Procedure

 

Resellers are organizations who invoice their customers for SOLINET products. Payment to SOLINET can be by invoice (30 days net) subject to establishing a trading account with SOLINET. This requires government company registration documents, bank references & financial profile. Normally the first transactions require advance payment or part-payment until a trading history has been established.

 

To apply for reseller status please complete our Reseller Application Form.

 

Organizations or individuals, who do not qualify as resellers, may qualify as sales agents working on a commission basis (see below, Sales Agents).

 

Exclusive reseller agreements are possible for geographic regions and/or key accounts subject to negotiation and achieving specific sales volumes.

 

Reseller Sales

 

SOLINET accepts orders from approved non-exclusive resellers, who receive an agreed reseller discount on SOLINET products. End-user discounts must be approved in advance and may result in a reduction of the reseller margin. Overlapping sales enquiries from different resellers will be handled on a case-by-case basis, normally first-come-first-served and with the purpose of fair support & protection for all concerned.

 

Likewise resellers must work with the SOLINET product price list; additional local margins must be agreed in advance.

 

Internet Sales

 

SOLINET also operates an Internet shop, which is, by nature, open to all customers and any interested party.

The SOLINET Internet Shop is an unavoidable technological development driven by globalization and the Internet, but SOLINET is committed to supporting our resellers. Here are some reasons why:

a) Internet purchases are not possible for many organizations

There are still significant barriers to customers ordering online, also in the developed economies, i.e. company procedures for supplier approval, purchasing department relationships, fiscal limitations for international payments, etc. Resellers can handle all the traditional commercial issues for their customers based on trust and reliability.

 

b) Resellers add value

A reseller's customer relies on local contact and first-level support, especially for reasons of language, culture, accessibility, response time & making things happen. SOLINET accepts that resellers need a suitable margin to provide this service and is happy to support resellers in this role with preferred, rapid response support from specialists.

 

c) SOLINET Reseller Success Program

The SOLINET Internet Shop allows customers to identify their local SOLINET approved reseller, who is credited with the sale. Using this information SOLINET makes commission payments to the resellers based on their related sales volume.

Sales Agents

 

Organizations and individuals who would like to promote SOLINET products without going through the SOLINET reseller approval procedure can apply to become registered sales agents, who receive a registered sales agent code. If accepted, Internet sales referring to their sales agent code will result in commission payments according to their sales volume. Note: SOLINET cannot accept as sales agents persons who are employed by SOLINET related organizations or customers.
